Breastfeeding advice in the postpartum period
Breastfeeding is a special phase that can bring both beautiful and challenging moments. During the postpartum period, I will be at your side as a midwife to support you with breastfeeding. You can rely on me to accompany you through this important time with sensitivity and competence.

Support and advice
In the first few days and weeks after birth, it is completely normal to have questions and uncertainties about breastfeeding. I will help you to develop a pleasant breastfeeding relationship and give you practical tips on the correct latching technique, milk production and the prevention of breastfeeding problems.
Individual support
Every mother-child relationship is unique, so I adapt my advice to your individual needs and those of your baby. Whether it's about the frequency of breastfeeding, the right breastfeeding position or dealing with possible difficulties such as sore nipples or engorgement - I offer you the support you need.
Continuous support
During my regular postpartum visits, I will discuss all the important topics related to breastfeeding with you. Together we will find solutions to any problems and ensure that you and your baby can enjoy this special time. My goal is to give you security and help you develop confidence in your abilities as a breastfeeding mother.
Prevention and help with breastfeeding problems
I am here to answer questions and support you in preventing and treating breastfeeding problems. If difficulties do arise, we will work together to find solutions so that you can continue to breastfeed successfully.
If you cannot breastfeed for certain reasons or simply do not want to,
I would be happy to advise you individually about your baby’s nutrition during the postpartum period.
