Midwife Julia Merker
I am Julia, a midwife from Berlin, married, mother of one daughter and bonus mom of two children.
I have been working as a midwife for more than 13 years and during this time I have accompanied numerous women and couples on their path to parenthood both in the delivery room of the Vivantes Klinikum Berlin-Neukölln and on a freelance basis and have cared for and supported them in the weeks following the birth of their baby.
Today I work exclusively as a freelance midwife and travel around the south-west of Berlin and parts of Teltow.
My goal is to enable you to have a positive pregnancy and a relaxing postpartum period through my sensitive, competent and holistic care. I place great value on a trusting relationship with my pregnant women and those who have just given birth, and I respond to your individual needs and wishes. I keep my knowledge up to date with regular training and further education so that I can offer you the best possible care.

Service area
As a midwife, I care for families in a large care area in the south-west of Berlin.
These include the districts:
Lichterfelde, Marienfelde, Lankwitz as well as parts of Steglitz, Zehlendorf and Dahlem.
I also look after parts of nearby Teltow.
Due to my central location in this area, I can respond quickly and flexibly to your needs.
